ASTON MARTIN'S 3 SPECIAL-EDITION DB9s
Carbon Black, Quantum Silver, Morning Frost : Don't confuse these for elements and well, frost. These are the 3 Special Edition DB9s released by Aston Martin!
The Carbon Black and Quantum Silver models are both sport editions with a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission and a remapped sports exhaust that provides a more evocative sound, the automaker said.

Both cars come equipped with 19-inch, black 10-spoke wheels, a black grille and graphite tailpipes. The black theme continues with an obsidian black interior that includes a semi-aniline leather roof lining, coarse silver stitching and polished-glass switches.
The Morning Frost version also comes equipped with a Touchtronic II transmission but is designed as a luxury edition. The car wears pearlescent white paint and 19-inch silver, 10-spoke wheels, silver brake calipers and a silver grille. The metallic bronze interior is equipped with a piano-black center console and perforated seat inners.
Each special edition comes with a laser-etched sill plaque with the name of the editions and the Aston Martin insignia. The special editions are available to order at Aston Martin dealerships.
FOR SUCH AN AMAZING CAR, COMES A HEAVY PRICE. All three of these beauties can be yours for around £130,000 each.

FORMULA 1 TO INTRODUCE GREENER ENGINES FROM 2013

The FIA’s World Motor Council ( WMSC ) has approved new regulations that the four cylinder 1.6 litre engines will replace the 2.4 litre V8s currently used by Formula One from 2013. There will a 35 percent reduction in fuel consumption. This won’t make any difference to the performance enjoyed by today’s F1 drivers.

The FIA explained “The WMSC approved the introduction of a new specification engine from 2013, underlining the FIA’s commitment to improving sustainability and addressing the needs of the automotive industry,”

“Following dialogue with the engine manufacturers and experts in this field, the power units will be four cylinders, 1.6 litre with high pressure gasoline injection up to 500 bar.”

The Rev limits on the new engines will have a reduction by 6,000 rpm ( From 18,000 rmp used currently to 12,000 rmp )

There even will be a drop in the number of engines at drivers’ disposal . Currently they can use eight units a season without penalty, but this will be limited to five in 2013 and reduced to four for subsequent seasons.
